I recently bought a Windows XP Pro Upgrade CD to upgrade one of my comps that was running Windows 98se.....the upgrade went fine but it's still FAT32, is there anyway to get an upgrade to run NTFS like the full version can?

I am not possative on this but I think you can use "convert.exe" not possative on how it works i think somthing like at the command prompt and type "convert X: /FS:NTFS" (where X: is the name of your hard drive) and it will convert your hard drive to NTFS
It should have given you the option during setup?

I haven't tried it but you might want to try THIS (http://www.ntfs.com/quest3.htm) .
Hope it helps...:)
EDIT: Boy, ya gotta be FAST around here...;)

YESSSS! It worked just like you guys said it would. After typing in "convert C: /FS:NTFS" it asked three or four questions leaving a yes or no answer. I answered yes to each of them....rebooted and WaLa... It's now NTFS.
Thanks for the quick responses.

Did that conversion a while ago and unfortunately a lot of games that worked under FAT won't workon N.T.F.S even with the x.p. program compability function ..Every body to the software store!! new programs are as stable as windows ever gets (not very):)

Sometimes it's hard to tell when someones joking. Mind if I use the cat picture Yoda? I can think of a lot of replies it would fit in. Really a reply all by itself anyway.
