Sounds new age, huh. I mean are there any ready made devices to attach to a fan to direct air where you want it in the case? I took apart my daughters HP the other night and they had a plastic duct which caused the exhaust fan to suck air right off the top of the heatsink. I was thinking if there is something like dryer vent hose that would fit my 80mm intake fan to direct cool air to the heatsink and board it would help the heat situation a lot.

http://www.thermaltake.com/products/heatsink/ductingMod.htm

When I originally found this Yoda and I were searching around to see if they were actually available and neither of us could find it. We are both ready to plunk down the dough if they're in stock some where...

The design sure makes sense!

Just after I posted I saw the new ducting mod for Thermaltakes on another thread here. I ordered one from Newegg (do a search for A1442). I'll see how that works. If it fits an 80mm fan though I could put one on the intake fan and direct air toward the board or even run ducting hose from the cowl on the intake directly into the one on the heatsink. Cool!
