disapearing icons

ive lost all the icons in the task bar,the links are still thier and working but no icons,any idears why ? ive got me.

Run an a/v scan.

Boot into safe mode and then boot normally may restore them.

Deleting the shelliconcache file may restore them.

Which OS is this and can you do a system restore.

It might be a good idea to run a spyware and trojan scan too. This is the kind of thing that malware can do to a system.

any idears please, 1 thing i have noticed that the errors are always Dill based problems.

What is the error message you are getting?

Try to be as specific as possible, and include version of Windows, any new items installed (hardware & software), vidoe card, etc.
