Reinstall Music Match or revert to Windows Media Player

Hi paul
Thanks for your reply, have solved half of the problem ie the
mmjblaunch.exe file by going to the site you recommended ie Newbie .org
Still need to get Autorun to function My software used to load AUTOMATICALY now it does not I have to do it by going into my computer
and double cicking the drive icon How can this be put right?
Do I have to go into Regedit Hikey current user or something?

Right click on 'My Computer', click Properties/Device Manager, click the + next to the CD-ROM, double click on your CD-ROM drive, click Settings, and make sure the box is checked for 'Auto insert notification'.
If it's already checked then do the following:
Click on Start/Run, type regedit in the box, click OK, click on the + next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt Version\Policies, click on the name Explorer, and make sure the binary value NoDriveAutoType appears in the right half of the window with the value 95 00 00 00.
If it's not there, then right click on Explorer, point to New, click on 'Binary Value', rename it to NoDriveAutoType, right click on it, click Modify, type in 95 00 00 00 for the value.
If the binary value item is listed but either has no value or the incorrect value, then right click on it, click Modify, and type in the above value.
Quit regedit, and restart your computer.
Go into Device Manager and click on the CD drive and then Properties, then Settings.
Is Autoinsert Notification checked?

..explains it quite nicely from a RClick on the CD Drive and then choose properties; enables you to choose the options for each CD type.
... oops thats for XP ... sorry ... since you are using Win98.
