I was having trouble with my cable modem so I thought I'd try System restore. I let the program do its thing when I went to bed and when I woke up this morning it was at a blank blue background. I reboot and same thing. I went into safe mode and it was a black screen that said windows XP and Safe mode on it but couldn't do anything. I have an HP Pavillion 256Mb 60 gb hd. It has a recovery partition on drive D also. If no other ideas how do I access the recovery partition to restore my files?
