Please visit the SSD forum SpybotS&D 1.X (http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?s=3e7c7bb731c9ffff;act=SF;f=28) and post your problem there. PepiMK usually sweeps around every day to provide authoritative answers.

You might find the Known bugs in 1.2 Please read this FIRST (http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?s=3e7c7bb731c9ffff;act=ST;f=28;t=220 4) is worth a read.

Immunize has provoked a lot of questions. It is essentially the same thing as SpywareBlaster. Also there's a whole pinned thread at SSD with links to reading matter. immunize v1.2 (http://www.net-integration.net/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?s=3e7c7bb731c9ffff;act=ST;f=28;t=213 8)

Welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif

And thanks for the links. The only problem I have had so far is the stall on the C2lop or whatever that was. I didn't do anything and it went on after a while. I didn't post on the other forum because I don't want to register on another forum, but I assume the problem is getting fixed anyway.

You're welcome, mjc. Thanks for alerting me that some of the people here were puzzled or annpoyed. :)

PepiMK is working hard and fast to fix the relatively few bugs. Most problems arose from the difficulty in getting downloads and updates from the seriously overburdened servers. There were also some misconfigurations due to the configuaton.ini moving to a new location, and several false positives.

The most serious thing is the C2 lop hang. I believe this happened because as you know, lop keeps changing. PepiMK is trying to make a detection that will catch it no matter what shape it takes, but that's a tall order and obviously not quite right yet. There are some suggestions that the hang only happens on Win 98 but this is not verified.

I like your forum. :)

I had the C2 lop hang for a while on WinME, but it did eventually move on. I don't know if that is because it was WinME instead of Win98 or if it was because I let it sit until it moved on. Either way, it was no big deal.
