Can anyone suggest a site or be able to tell me the generations of motherboards from the socket 7 boards to socket 478 with info on specs.....

specs dont need to be over the top...... im really just after the order of what boards were released...

Also after info on the order of generations of video cards from TNT2 To Ti4800.

Hi, welcome aboard.
There is plenty of info out there - but as you've found out, finding it is a pain. one of the first things that came to mind was mike myers book 'upgrading and repairing pcs' - and sure enough there's a helpful website to go with it. the link below will take you to the resources section, which has links to processor specs etc. believe me - there's more info out there than you could possibly want:D
