Ok...I've had this subject up under the "Video Card" section for a while...but I think it may have something to do with my CPU now, I don't know, but thats why i'm here, looking for help, x:)>
Whenever I want to run a video game, the game will load up and start playing fine, but a few minutes into the game, bam!, the screen starts to stutter and the sound begins to skip, like the computer doesn't have enought memory to run the game. Here are my system specs:
Pentium 4 1.7 GHz
512 MB Ram
GeForce4 Ti 4600 128 MB graphic card
Standard Intel Integratted Audio
Windows XP Home (non SP1)
Now, I should have any problem running any of the games that I have...but whenever I run a game, something weird happens and all my memory gets sucked up. I've turned off all programs running in the background, have run DiskCleanup and DiskDefrag numerous times, run a full virus scan on my entire comp, and have downloaded Ad-aware and removed all spyware from my computer...but I'm still having problems. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
