I'm going to be installing an inexpensive nvidia tnt64 into my dual-boot xp/win98se system to run a second monitor. My current monitor uses a geforce4 ti4400 with up-to-date detonator drivers. Despite the huge quality differences in the video cards, both use the same version of nvidia drivers. My question: when I install the tnt64, can it use the same drivers already installed for the ti4400, or do I need to install separate yet identical drivers? In other words, when I install the tnt64, will windows look for and install the det drivers I already have installed for the ti4400, or will I have to install a new set of the same drivers. Thanks.

Install just the TNT card without installing additional drivers, and see what happens.
If problems arise, then install the drivers that come with the TNT card.
Also, check in BIOS to make sure that the 'Initial Display First' setting is configured for AGP.

Ski,thanks. I was thinking of doing what you suggested. I did get a chance to see what drivers come with the tnt (which is a pci card; by the way, thanks for the heads up re. setting "initial display first" for agp), and they are an earlier version of the nvidia drivers. That brings me to my second, related concern. If I install the latter drivers, might they conflict with the dets that are in place for the 4400, which are the 41.09s. Is there anyone out there who has nvidia agp and a nvidia pci cards installed in the same computer for a dual-monitor setup? Thanks.
