I don't know if it is possible, but when you can buy a router or switch for less that $20, is it really worth it to try???

Yes, it most defintely is possible and pretty easy. Its cheaper and just as easy as buying a hub. One nic using the internet connection and the other nic using a crossover cable going to the other computer. Configure internet connection sharing on the computer with 2 nics.

Save your penny's and buy a router. ICS is no joy and both PC's have to be on for it to work. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean its the best way.....
