External usb Cdrw

I bought a CDRW USB external drive a couple of weeks ago. I hooked it up, it was working fine, then, yesterday I ejected it (like your supposed to!) and now it won't come back on. I've removed it and reattached it, but there is no listing for it in dev manager. Do you think there could be something wrong with the USB PCI card? I just bought it a month or so ago, but now my camera doesn't appear to be working either!! D***it!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the USB card.

That didn't work. I did find out that the USB ports on my computer work, just had to enable them..D'OH! My camera is working fine through both the USB in the computer and the card now, but the CDRW still won't come on.

I'll try to install the USB card on the other computer tonight and see if I have better luck with that one.

NEVER MIND! It just popped on as I was typing this! WOO HOO, lucky day for me!:D :D
