Whilst recently ripping a cd to mp3 with audiograbber I think it encountered an ASPI error as it couldn't read the cd properly for one of the tracks and my computer just rebooted. It does that every time I try to rip that track so obviously the cds a little scratched. My question is why does it reboot like that?????

Rio_,
Got a little tongue tied there for a second? :p Say what you said 5 times fast! :D I know, you've got a new tongue and you're just trying it out... ;)
Daniel,
Consider yourself lucky. Any other form of Windows would either freeze solid and need a forced reboot with Scandisk etc., or it would produce the dreaded the BSOD! Don't know why but you obviously have homed in on the culprit. Skip that track...
Edit: XP is designed to reboot rather than allow freezups if that explains anything./Edit
