Thanks for the warning. Since I typically browse PCGuide and associated links from Netscape 4.8 without any popup software, I think I will forgo that particular challenge for now.... I may try to access it if Netscape 7 which has much better protection.

Hehe...yeah, I closed the site and low and behold, lying behind the IE browser was a desktop full of popups...

They're getting sneaky too...

On some, they extend beyond the confines of the screen, so the minimize and X to close are not visible. However, I picked up a little trick I didn't even realize existed during my surfing days...right click 'em on the tast bar and select close...

So, that mess was worth the learning curve for me! :D

Alt-f4 starting with the topmost one and working your way on down will also work.
