Ecs site and Popups?

People. please accept my apologies , I wasn't aware of the popups because I don't get them. I use Xp plus Tweak Xp and have all of them blocked. Again Humble apologies!!!!

Apology accepted, but don't worry about it. We all know how to block popups if we choose to. I don't block them here partly because I can catch things that people who block them don't notice.

One of the regulars here posted a couple of interesting links recently and when I went to check on them they were filled with cascading porno popups. The fact that I was able to see this allowed me to notify the moderators and they removed the links so others who are more vulnerable didn't get trapped. I know how to deal with this garbage and I immmediately scan my system after encountering it so that it doesn't damage me. Others might not.

If I don't want to deal with popups at all, I just use a different browser.

One other thing. It probably would have been more effective to post your response in the original thread since most people encountering this may have trouble figuring out what you are talking about.:)
