I've ordered a crossover cable from ebuyer now, 5m so i can put my PC back where it was b4 and put my speaker back where it was.

Well thanx for that anyway... will post again in a few days or whenever I get the cable through the post to say whether or not it is working.

Hi DazRstars-

It helps a lot to keep all this in the same thread....It made little sense to me until I did a search.

Best would have been to post it HERE (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21457) . That way, the people that were helping you can continue to follow it, and others may have some input too! Good luck.

(Edit) Wow!That was fast, I see you did that right after I posted this! ;)
