I have a GIGABYTE motherboard (GA-SINXP1394) that supports DDR 400 RAM. I have to RMA the RAM as one of the matched modules was DOA. I have some old 128 MB of SDRAM from my old computer. I was wondering if I could use that on my motherboard until the replacement came??

Besides the electrical differences, DDR has 184 pins while older SDRAM has 168 pins, so looks like the answer is "no". I believe the "S" in the model number should be an "8".
