Somehow a setting has been changed because everytime I get on AOL or Internet Explorer I have to go back into control panel, internet options and open the advanced tab. Under the "http 1.1 settings" I have to remove the checkmark from the "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections". I have to do this manually every time I get on the internet because the setting resets itself each time. If I don't I can't get onto any websites. Every time I make this change I make sure I hit "apply" but the very next time I sign on to the internet I have to go through this same process. I haven't been able to figure out why this setting keeps re-setting itself.I realize it is probably re-setting itself each time I sign on but don't know why. Hopefully I am posting to the right subject and somebody smarter than I can help me out. It is a very annoying. Thanks to all replies in advance.
