i have a doubt about network (lan). we have a network of 70 computers of windows 98 , 2000 and xp with netware server . among these which computer acts as a master browser , say some x computer acts as master browser then i switched off that one then what happened to my network which one acts as master browser and what is actual use of master browser , i want all the details of lan . some times i will get an error that if type the unc path like \\abc it says that check the spelling . some times it will work and that computer share is accesable
why this is happening some times only some computers will appear . some times only the same work group computers will appear in my network places . i want to clarify all this issues

There is no master browser (as far as I know) with a Novell Server.
