Search for old post

Sorry about this but I have searched and searched but can not find an old post that went to a website that someone had set to look like a MAC or LINUX desktop, it was very good and I would love to set it as the companys internet machines default web page. Can anyone help.

Okay, what's that supposed to be? I clicked on your link and it said it was downloading stuff from C drive..on a black DOS looking screen! Scared me!:eek: I clicked it closed ASAP. Freaked now, though. ??

Dont worry its just someone thats done a web page to look like you are being changed to a macintosh, just visual web page, quite good though.

It's already headed to a couple of people I know that bug me all the time with their computer problems. I told them it's a "great new interface tweak that should make their computers more reliable"

I say this..only half in jest...you guys are mean! I was disconnected/bumped offline shortly after I had clicked on the above link, and spent part of the day wondering if I had started to download something nasty. Sniffle. Kept reassuring myself that ZA or AVG would have caught anything too bad..but still. So, you boys get a "Tsk, tsk!" from this old broad.

You getting bumped was just a coincidence. Believe me, it didn't do anything bad to your computer.

Oh...And mjc (or whoever of you edited my link)- Thanks. I actually thought of doing it myself just because of the popups, but when I finally decided I should, it was too late.
