Hi all
I recently orderd a dell 8300...but just found out that they are having problems with that system...does anyone know another place to buy a complete computer with that 800 fsb...

Is that 800 fsb realy worth it???

Is hyperthreading worth it????

im realy looking for a computer that i wont have to upgrade too soon after..

It is not Dell that is having the problem..it is Intel, and the 800 FSB boards...not quite ready for primetime.

Is hyperthreading worth it????

If the program you are using supports it...just like dual CPUs you will not gain any benefit without the programs supporting it (namely OS).

Build your own.

Here is a link to a review of the Asus M/B supporting the Intel 875Pchipset with 800 fsb

also Gigabyte's 875P chipset

I have to echo MJC on this.
IF you don't have the O/S and other programs to support it.
Don't waste your time of Money on the hyperthreading
