Memory Reading wrong???

The computer has 160 meg of RAM. (AMD K6 2 500). For some reason while the memory count is done at bootup it will show 152 meg + 8 meg shared. This was'nt like this before. Also another line that was not there before is "DRAM CAS latency time is "2". I have'nt the foggiest what this is. Has anybody had this problem before? How do you deal with this? It also shows as 152 meg on the system properties page.

The 8mb shared usually means that it's being taken up by another internal built in graphics card. Just disable it unless it's your only graphics adapter then your screwed :/ Can't think of anything else.

CAS= 2 or 3. 2 is better, but, you won't notice a difference. It's like a wait state before data flow starts.
