Does anyone know a good recources for tips on creating a network file server?

What O/S, we have NT 4.0 and our File server is just a member server where the user manager are pointing to for the users file store, a lot depends on yuor other servers, what their doing, how big a system, how many users, what else would yuo like it to do if anything.

E.g If yuo had a really small network yuo may want it to be a domain controoler to help with the logging in but if yuo start getting to a certain size you'll not want it to get tied up with any of that but you may decide that it can act as another WINS server or load bear some of the DHCP scopes (If using DHCP), ours doubles up as a print server.
