Well, it's about time. These guys are a pain in the...ummm...neck. ;)

If they don't want anyone copying their products, they're going to have to come up with products that can't be copied.

Life's rough when you're a multi billion dollar industry... :rolleyes:

They are trying to come up with products that can't be copied and they have had some success. Unfortunately, they also can't be played on some machines and they violate the fair copy aspects of the law.

I think that they are going to need to begin distributing music largely online and work out a system that charges a fair price so people will be inclined to buy rather than steal the product. There will always be some piracy, but I think this would reduce it considerably. I know that I would use a site where I could safely download music that I want, make a clean copy that I can keep and not have to worry about the music secret police breaking down my door some day to take my computer and files away.
