About once a month, I start up my computer and get a message that sayes, "Disk Boot Failure Insert System Disk". After rebooting a couple of times,it starts up and it doesn't happen again for maybe 1 or two months and than the same thing happens. Can anyone tell me if I need to do something real fast or what? The computer is used for a video store, and I can't have a total break down.
Do you by any chance have anything in either the floppy drive or th CD drive?
If you don't need to boot from either one go into the BIOS setup and change the boot order to C: first...

Have you checked your cables they could be faulty, you might need new ones

Boot to a start up disk for your operating system, at the A:\> pprompt type
sys_c: using a space in place of the underscore used here.
See if that helps.
Be careful about changing the boot sequence to C first, it works fine, but you have to remember to go into BIOS and change it back to A first if you ever need to boot to a floppy. If you forget it can ruin your whole day...
