I think The PC Guide is excellent, however I have a few questions???

1) When is the site due to be updated next and
2) Will it include info on Windows XP / Windows 2003 (.net) Server
3) Will there be information on the new cpus like the AMD Duron, Athlon, Athlon XP, Athlon XP+, Intel Pentium 4, Intel
4) The section on modems and modem troubleshooting is pretty neat but can this be extended to include cable modems too
5) How about a section on troubleshooting printers...I know this may be hard due to so many different printers but even just some basics would be good
6) A section on networking / network troubleshooting would be usuful

I know you've probably heard a lot of this before...but it would make an already excellent site even better!!!!

Hello GazzyGaz and welcome.
If you are refering to the main site that these forums are related to, then I can't answer for the Grand Poobah (IXL) but I beleive he does updates when he has available time. The main site deals with the basic core functionality of a computer.
If you are refering to the forums, this is a constantly evolving source of information. As resources, technology, and research become available to us, we share with others. There have been extensive updates to the forums over the last year or so to include topics beyond the main site resources.
Thats one of the things that makes this place so special. You get the help needed on a more personal level from an extensive array of talents and experiences rather then just reading a book.;)

ixl, the Grand Poobah, recently posted that he has been working on the upgrades to the PCGuide archives for about a year and expects to complete the project soon. Of course, there will be new things to include as soon as he gets it published, but he will probably keep upgrading it too....
