I am running three 256mb memory modules in an 800mhz P3/133fsb computer. I booted up yesterday and the blue screen o'death told me that the memory is running critically low. I suspected a bad module, so I bought a new 256mb module and replaced each one one at a time to find the bad one. I could not get the machine to run properly with all three modules installed. If I run with just one installed and run a memory test with Norton System Works, it passes the test. If I run more than one, it fails. Got any ideas?

What OS are you running?

What is the maximum your MOBO can support? and how much per slot?
