I have recently decided to share my internet conenction over my 2 XP Pro machines which are peer to peered with std ethernet.
I have gone to the connection properties of the dial up connection and ticked the correct box to make the connection shared.
The network works fine in all other cases as they ping fine and I can file share.
But the internet connection sharing just doesnt want to work. I have uninstalled BlackIce firewall incase this was the case- and have turned off the connection firewall so in theory it should work.
I go LAN Parties often to play cames which are all DHCP and when I come back I reassign the IP addresses to it.....could me doing this affect the internet connection sharing?
I have had to going before no problem and it has been setup in this way. Am I missing something/ any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance
