I lost my 98s startup floppy, and must get to my CDROM drive to install a 95W. I have 2000Pro and Linux. But this little pent mmx at uses a fat 16 only and had to format disk, I did have a startup boot disk that I took off of my old 98s win, but lost. Is there some way I can configure another from my win98s disk without installing> I just wqant to produce a startup disk from it. Can I manage this from win2000Pro??

But when I tried too use this Floopy Boot disk too get too my CD Rom driver to install the OS system it said that it will not run in DOS.

Could you copy and print the exact error message you are getting and when you get it. I don't get what you mean about ?the startup disk? not working in DOS...
