Hey guys. I'm sure this error isn't a big deal, but occasionaly, I get this error -- "A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C000AB29." Can anyone tell me where this address falls under?? Video?? Etc...?
I also just received another error just after I posted this post. It said, "A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C000AAC4 in VX VMM(01) 00009AC4."
Can someone please tell me what my computer is trying to say to me?????????????????? Thanks =)

Hi;
I believe that this is a video error. What video card are you using, Matrox by any chance?
Have you tried downloading the latest video driver for your particular OS?
Does it happen at any particular time? When you attempt to shutdown or re-boot?
I forgot who posted a site where OE errors are defined, but I am currently using my "back-up system to test it and do not have the site handy, but will get back to you when I'm up on my other system.

Hey guys -- Just a little information (it may help): I just added new RAM, and these errors have happened ONLY after adding the new RAM. Please see my post "VCACHE RAM problem." I've been getting errors galore after adding this RAM. When I try and play this game, I never make it more than 2 minutes before it saying that I performed an illegal operation. I have an ATI vid card. Could this be a problem?

This MAY be the solution: http://www.springfieldtech.com/windows/Errors/OE_vmm01.htm
The exact error I got was: Fatal Exception OE has occurred at 0028:C000AAC4 in VX VMM(01) 00009AC4

Hey Zero,
Looked at that link you posted. Very good advice indeed. However, I think your problem lies in the new RAM sticks you should installed. Trust me, been there done that.
Try different combos of sticks and slots. I just did that yesterday and found two bad DIMM slots on one of my systems. It's worth a shot. Or, take the new RAM back to where you got it from and have them test it.
Good luck.
