I am finally going with the AMD processor but now I dont know which mobo would be the best for it. Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on AMD and the mobos that are really made for it. I am getting the AMD xp 2500.

You might want to take a quick look at Tamacracker's thread (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22451) for some ideas. Same thing applies, I suggest either the MSI K7N2 Delta-L (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=K7N2+Delta%2DL) ($99) or the Asus A7N8X Deluxe (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=A7N8X+Deluxe+Retail) ($132 w/SATA). Both are top quality and both are pretty cheap! :D

matt, I posted a long response about Soltek in response to your other thread the other day. As much as I've been pleased with my Soltek SL-DRV5, check out the following: http://www.amdforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=224970
