A friend of mine built me a pc with a amd 1.1ghz proesser the motherboard vt8361 i think via technolagies proesser 86 family 6 model 6 stepping 2 amd 1533mhz running windows 2000 pro.
thats all i can find on my systems info . It has 8mb of video on it and i would like to get more because i play golf on line and links wants 32mb video for it. what is a good card to buy for this pc .

Ok, first of all, how do you have a 1.1GHz CPU that runs at 1533MHz? :eek: What were you using to detect the system specs?
Anyway, the VT8361 northbridge is the VIA KLE133 chipset. I'm afraid that chipset has built-in AGP 4x graphics and no AGP slot! :( So, if you want to keep that mobo, you'll have to scrape by with a PCI video card.
For about $70 you can get a respectable GF4 MX 440-based card with 64MB of DDR RAM. Not bad for a PCI card. I wouldn't suggest going cheaper, but if you want to drop down to $50 you can get a Radeon 7000 or a GF2 MX (32MB cards).

well i went to my systems info and were it says processwe thats where i found it is that not true 1533mhz as for the ghz thats what my friend said it was.
