Hello All,

I'm thinking about attempting to construct my own mini jack, so I can link my M-Audio Sonica Theater's Center/subwoofer channel with its rear center channels outputs. This in turn needs to be connected to my Creative's 6.1 (6700) center/rear channels/subwoofer 'single' input. Basically I need to copy a section of Creatives 3 pin audio cable for the Sound Blaster Extigy (Orange input) at one end and combine this with 2 outputs at the other.

M-Audio Tech Support Department has failed to rely to my cries for help after 2 weeks!

I'm a novice as far as this is concerned, so I'm unsure if it is even possible to make this work. Any advice would be most welcome.

Many Thanks

Luckylion

Sounds like a fairly common project among audiophiles. Not being one, I can't help you directly, but the first place I would go is a store like Radio Shack or Best Buy or a music store - any place that has lots of cables and splitters and converters. Ask around, they're likely to help you if they can secure a sale! ;) And since it's something as simple as a cable, it wouldn't make sense for them to sell you something that doesn't work ('cause then you'd just come here and complain and none of us would shop there ever again! :p).
