This morning at 6:44 am a new, future computer guru joined my forums...my daughter was born, 7lbs 9oz, 20 3/4" and strawberry blonde...

Mother and baby are doing fine.

Right now I am running on enough caffeine to power a small city...

Congratulations!!! Am wondering, though, how you can post less than 30 minutes after your daughter is born? Laptop? Hospital around corner from house?

Fantastic mjc!!!
Truly a blessing! My very best to you and the "Fam"! ;)

Keep the caffeine commin'....(I have two daughters and a son)...You'll need something stronger as time goes on. :D

(Yea, I figure a laptop KAY...Or he hijacked a computer behind the nurses station)
Hmmmm....Or maybe she was born at home while mjc was typing? :p

Oh- Wait a minute...According to my time, it was two hours plus....I suppose that would give him enough time to run home!

Whyzman
05-16-2003, 11:04 AM
Yeah, probably a home birth! I think he's got this down to a science by now...is this number 7?

Are you headed for your own baseball or football team? :D

jabarnutcase
05-16-2003, 11:07 AM
is this number 7?
Wow!!! Are you kidding? I guess he doesn't need any advice from me then!

We can have a future poll on what to name the team when they go Pro. :p

We need to have mjc check in and tell us what his plans are...

They might be shooting beyond the team concept into the congregation venue...:D

:D Hehe...Well what ever the plans are, they appear to be on a monumental scale!

Everyone...thanks.

Kay, eastern time zone....it was 2 hours later...;)

Whyzman...only 6, 2 boys & 4 girls.

Brudfred...I can't remember who I told she was pregnant...got enough relatives that I am not even sure they all know...

Yoda, it was a normal night....it wasn't until she woke up saying..."Mike, I think its time...", should have know soemthing was up, it was the full moon. Besides, my normal bedtime is late, so you didn't keep me up....

PS: I am thinking my own IT department.....

Tell the misses too.

But you gotta slow down! Before someone gets hurt!

You sure your last name isn't Partridge? (Oh wait, they only had 5...)

Budfred

mjc,

Actually I was trying to imply, in my ever so subtle fashion, that it was you who was pregnant... A failed attempt at humor, but a valiant one...:D

Congratulations again regardless, that will be one hell of an IT Department!!!

That's pretty optimistic, considering that raising one child will cost you in the neighborhood of $250,000! (Saw that on MSN news the other day)

Whyzman
05-19-2003, 04:40 PM
BB, I figured you'd calculate that out for us....

6 x $250,000 = $1,500,000

Not very comforting when you do it this way...

If a body worked from age 18-65, that would be 47 years of 40hrs per week x 52 weeks...Hmmmmm

Where was I? Okay. Say the body averaged $40,000 throughout their active work years...(40,000 x 47 = $1,880,000) in their lifetime!:(

That's before taxes...

Let's see now, when I win the Lottery that'll take care of that! :D

And I just love it when then the professional athletes make 2M a year and complain that their careers are so short! hehe
