Win 98 Boot option screen every time

Ok this is what I have.

When booting my PC with Windows 98 I get the boot option screen everytime.

Normal
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with network
ECT.....

All I do is select normal and the PC starts and runs great with no problems.

How or what needs edited to keep this boot screen from coming up?

Try going in to msconfig and see if you have it set to bring up the boot menu. To get there go to Start, Run, type msconfig and hit enter. You will need to reboot after you change it...

Yeah, once the main dialog screen pops up when you run msconfig, look for an Advanced tab toward the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Click on that. Next screen should have a listing of several options, one of them being something like, "Show boot menu at startup" or similar. Uncheck the box and reboot.
