I have a Dell Desktop it gives me two quick beeps at boot. The online Dell
Knowledge Base specifies what the various beeps mean. According to that
page it means either the Video adapter (whatever that is) has failed or that
there's a problem with the seat position of the memory DIMM or SIMM
(whichever the case may be). My problem is that I did a diagnostic on the
PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) the test came back with the
following errors .....(1) Invalid Argument (2) Screen shots not enabled in
the preferences section (3) No Hardware Found. What does that mean? Either
I have no PCI to worry about or it's become unseated..Or the DIMM/SIMM has
become unseated. What should I try next?

ther should have been an error code printed on the screen when you got two beeps.try it again and see if a code # showes up and right down all info per-batum most problems are caused by vidio adapters or memory try reseating them and make sure to blow out all dust then post back.
