Fired Mandrake

They had a good thing going too. when I installed my printer in 9.0, it fired right up like magic. Then I installed 9.1 and now the driver wont work.

I cannot log in as root unless I set to runlevel 3 and reboot.

And call me crazy, but I like to mount my drives explicitly, thank you. I don't know what's up with this "none is already mounted" business.

My kppp kept crapping out as well.

So mandrake is gone, replaced by Redhat. If that one ticks me off, I've got a slackware disk waiting in the wings.

I also removed Mandrake 9.1 and reinstalled 9.0

Someone in the Office must be thinking We want to follow MS
Too much fluff in 9.1 for me
