Application errors

I am using Windows XP and ever since I have been getting lots of application errors and am forced to close down whatever Im using, this is usually IE6. This happens about 2 to 3 times every hour. I hear the hard drive spinning as though its busy and then up comes my application error message and I have to choose whether to send the log to Microsoft.

This is getting bloody annoying. I have all the latest Windows updates and everything. Has anyone else had this problem and how do you stop this happening?

This can often occur when the program clashes with another. are you running any diagnostics software? any antivirus/firewall software? post back and let us know.

Did you install SP-1 for Win XP?

I have AVG anti-virus, ZoneAlarm and Lavasoft Adwatch running in the background.
I have installed SP1.

D/L Ad-aware 6.0, and remove any spyware.
If no luck with that, then uninstall SP-1. It can cause problems.
