Here is a link on security and privacy bills in certain states.

I found the site a bit tough to navigate.

"CLICK" on a short explanation of the bills draw backs in WORD FORMAT.

Do we have to give up security, so the government can catch a few insignificant criminals. The real threats are going to always going to find a way.


Also as an after thought:

What made me remember this link was Jes asking about routers.
So Jes check it out, it may be helpful:)

I really don't think we will have to give up our routers and firewalls. The folks in the various government agencies today, are the last of the computer illiterate. As time goes on, the people who never new a time when there wasn't computers will be taking over the government and hopefully a little more sense will prevail.

PS: I'm glad to see that New Hampshire wasn't in that list. ;)

Damn something new all the time..heck if i'd give up a firewall..Hmm sounds like a job for FloodNet..:)
