I changed the stock fan in my ps to one of those led fan and cut out the grill and put in a wire one to get more air flow.

When I turn on the power all lights flash on --> off, the fan makes a quarter of a revolution and then shuts off.

Fuse is good, power leads are correct (tried reversing them to check), no smoke, no burns, no other changes to ps, was very careful to place parts on non conductive surfaces, I have done this many times in the past and this is the first puzzle I've made.

Thanks in advance

What shuts off? Just the fan or the whole pc? Is it a temp sensing fan?
Is there still voltage to the fan lead after it shuts down? Can you provide any more specs to review?

Thanks :)
