Sart up disk

Hello: Is it alright to put the Start up disk in pc, just to see how it turned out? Would it add or delete anything that's in there now? (something tells me this Guy is New to this!)

Nothing harmful can be done by only putting the disk in checking partitions w/ Fdisk or whatever you want to do. Just be real sure you know what you're entering. If you are, nothing's wrong w/ poking around. It's the exact same as your BIOS, poke around, but be real careful what you're doing.
It's a very good (and recommended) idea to see if your bootdisk works before you need it. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
