Hi. My client has a 1.4 athlon, 256mb ddr pc2100 ram and an Iwill KA266-R. Well, when he turns on his computer, he has many things running on the taskbar. When he tries to play Counter-Strike, He has about 56% system resources. And about 10 minutes into the game, the computer just freezes. I'm thinking this may be because of the lack of system resources awailable. If this isn't the problem, then what is?? P.S. He also has an ATI Radeon 64mb DDR. I've heard some not too good of stuff about the Radeons... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

Does your client have directX 8 installed.
After I installed direct X 8 with my ATI All In Wonder Pro (uses same drivers) I couldn't play any games that use direct 3D. I went into the windows system folder and ran Dxdiag.exe go to the display tab and test direct 3D it crashed my system to a black screen every time that I tested it.
Also, check to see if he has ZoneAlarm running. I have noticed that with ZA running I sometimes get game crashes...nothing specific to pin it on, but if I don't shut down ZA they happen.

He doesnt have ZA and I tested the video card and all of the tests passed. I did also disable a lot of the stuff loading at startup and I tried playing the game with just load power profile, systray, and explorer and it didnt freeze for a long time. Could it be something with the video card itself? or what?

Since Counter-Strike is a multi-player on line game, you have to look at ISP issues. Also, do you have the latest patches for the game? If not go to:
http://www.fileleech.com/
Also there is a fourm for Counter Strike users at:
http://ubb.counter-strike.net/
Give that a try before you assume that it's the PC, It could be the game itself.
