Please someone tell me the forums look entirely different today. I looked around and didn't see any reference to the change.
Do you see it too? Or have I really gone over the edge this time?
(Why do I get the feeling I never should have asked your opinion concerning my sanity?) :p

Wow! That's wild. Thanks malcore. I replied to your "test" thread, before I saw this.
Guess I would have fixed it too had I posted this in the testing forum :D

I did notice a subtle difference, mainly in spacing, but I am not sure if that is what you are referring to. Are you indicating that the post in the last reply was making the listing in the main menu wider because of the extreme length of the title??? Yeah, that's the ticket...:D I think I answered my own question as I posted the question... Do I win a cigar?? (metaphorically speaking of course, can't stand the stinking things):D

In the old forum (prob not the original, I'm still a youngun' here) So I'll refer to it as the last one. Anyway, it would widen a whole post (if someone printed a line that was tooo long for a post) or at least a whole page in a thread to a widened, have to scroll horizontally, PIA, all the way down, to read everyones posts, on, the, entire,,, page. (Pete finally fixed one of the carry overs (to the new soft) months back for me, but I did it for all, honest (THEY are the geniuses not me).
The latest software and/or hacks that ixl and his armed guards  uh, merry men have improved this place to be, is, that only the post itself within the thread has the 'wide' effect. So all you need to do is, read with the scroll bar on any post that a member has used any line without spaces, too long to fit in a normal sized, easy to read on the 'net' window. Even a large picture does the same. I guess simply too many pixels wide is more to the point or simply correct'er'.
I was in mIRQ with 'the officers in charge' while the new software was coming online. My hat's still off to Charles http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/person/pfiade.gif
I think wide posts are avoidable by obviously a spacebar hit, but any comma or other punctuation mark and of course the Enter key. Not sure...
So if you copy paste, code or other long winded lines, the section of your post within the thread gets AnNoYiNg! sO StOp ThAt PlEaSe.>.?/?
JBNC,
There's still bugs, but at least their not 'Bibits'...!

You know I saw this test awhile ago and I kiddingly thought it was a foreign language. Oh well just when you thought it was safe to come back in the water.

It wasn't happening to me yesterday but it is now. If one of our moderators edits a spacebar hit into the title of the post in Testing forum, the problem will go away.
Just imagine trying to read entire threads with the page that wide. VERY annoying. Some people wouldn't even bother to read it but I found a trick called copy/paste :)

Hehe- You got it Steve...(And FRUSS). If anyone "replies" to CuratoRs post in the testing forum, things look crazy around here.
(malcore discovered the cure yesterday while I thought I was losing my mind)
My post in "testing" was because I just couldn't resist replying to CuratoRs post again to verify it would still mess things up...Sure enough, it did.
Then, CuratoR replied to his own post.
Your reply to my "test" cured it once again.
Probably wouldn't hurt to have the Mods edit that title. (Not that we should be "replying" in the testing forum.)
 :D
(I'll PM mjc)
