battery life

http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif I have a P3 500 with 256k and my battery life extendes for periods of about 5 months and then replaced. In my previous computers I never had to replace the battery. What's the problem?

That is strange.
Unless the Mother Board is not detecting the 120 power and draining the cmos battery
It should last a lot longer.

Is this the first time you have replaced the battery?
If so it may just have been a bad battery.
