In our network, all of our users work off of a terminal server. People occasionally complain to me that they're default printers are changing on their own. Does anyone know what can cause this or how I should attack it? Please help.

Sounds like a problem with “User Profiles”.
The users are on a network and the User Profiles are kept in the registry on the server.
When User Profiles are enabled, each user is given a copy of the default user profile that includes as part of its configuration settings, that a certain printer is the default.
Anyone logging on as a guest [not giving an identity and password] would have that printer [A] as default.
If, having logged on, they change the default printer [to B] then every time they log on with that identity they will have the changed default printer [B].
But if they fail to log on with their identity [they log on as a guest] they will be given the original [default] configuration settings that have the original printer [A] as default printer.

Did that make sense?

Have they perhaps created multiple identities for themselves by using different names or not quite identical names [thinking they were the same] and same or different password?
Each of these identities could be configured differently with a different printer as the default.
