LoadPowerProfile

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro Notebook with Windows 98SE. The battery wont hold a charge so have removed it.

Now I'm wondering if I should uncheck LoadPowerProfile in startup in msconfig. I read where LoadPowerProfile is required if I am using Power Management??

Your help please.

If your not using the Batt.
No Need to uncheck the Power profile

It is also used on AC power
It controls some of the power options for monitor, hard drive and others
