Memory (1 or 2?)

To set up my memory, should I use two memory modules that equal 512 MB or just one? Does it even make a difference?

Only if u have a mobo that's capable of dualchannel memory. Otherwise 1 stick of 512 is the same as 2 sticks of 256.:)

It can also make a difference if you want to add more memory later. If you have 2 256 RAM sticks and only 2 slots, you don't have room to expand unless you take out one stick. If you have a 512 stick and want to expand, you just add another stick...
