Terminal Server running slow

I have a Terminal Server (Dell Poweredge 6400) running with about 25 users. Its been running with alot of lag even though the performance shows that not even half of the 2 gigs of ram is being used and only about 20% of the (4) pentium 3 550mhz proccessors are being used. The only thing that I can come up with is the SQL server that users with open sessions on the Terminal Server are connected to, needs more RAM because its almost maxed out in the usage. I'm think'n maybe thats causing the lag. Does anyone else have any ideas? All our servers are running Windows 2000 Server.

First thing I would do is make sure all definitions are up to date and then scan the snot out of it.

Things like SQL Slammer did things like you are describing.
