im getting really slow downloads with kazaa,i am using sygate firewall which i think is slowing it down,if there is a good firewall to use with kazaa tell me.

i tried winmx along time ago but that was crap i used to leave it on all night and i was lucky if i got a few mb done!but maybe it wasnt configured correctly maybe you could show me the best settings for it ill go download it now.

nope winmx is a joke im getting like 1,3kb and i have dsl also most of the downloads dont even start!

I think the best bet would be to just run Kazaa without a firewall, but first warn everyone on your mailing list to beef up their firewalls so that they can be somewhat protected from the onslaught of crap that will be coming from your computer as various hackers turn your computer into a server....

You are not going to get Kazaa to work both safely and effectively. The only way to get it to work safely is to remove it. The only way to get it to work effectively is to give it free rein to destroy your system. It is garbage, pure and simple.....:(

One of the reasons your speeds are slow is all the bundled crap that comes with Kazaa.

Another could very well be that you are already infected with something, or have been turned into a pubstro....
