Cadenza

A friend copied and pasted his Cadenza product code from a Word doc into the box when prompted on a fresh install. The installation failed on the message that the prod code was invalid. It definately is not. Somewhere in the doc it mentions that copy & pasting from a Word doc can corrupt the prod code. But gives no more info.

Any experiences, testimonies? This seems a bit bizarre....

A cut and paste from a word processor document may include code that does not show up on the screen ( for example Font, size, and spacing )

Your best bet is to use a text / edit program for that kind of thing

Thanks Rick. I thought that too and am now wondering if the problem is only that and not a corrupted installation? Anyway I'm going to have him work it from notepad as a txt file as you suggest...
