ok so after my comp stilla acting a little slow latly <after a new intake fan which is just zip tied to the inside behind one of the stock dell vents and 256mb of ram> i decided to add an exaust fan and a hardrive cooler. the HDD cooler im coing with is an antec and had the case readout on the front....i was going to add the first fan <that is now zipped inside> to the case but i have no clue how to install it into the side? should i just cut out a 70mm <80mmfan> hole into the case and set the fan inside then screw it in and be doen or is they're antoher way? also if it involves printing off a template from the WWW then its outta the Q since none of my 3 printers work on the PC still... so any infor on what i should do? how can i make it flush? so that the outside of the fan is outside and not just inside with a crummy sut?
thanks tris

You can just use the fan to make an outline of where you want it. My suggestion would be right over the video card area.
Anyway, use a dremmel or whatever you have to cut the hole you traced, then drill 4 holes for the screws (you can trace these too or just measure them) then put the fan on! Ok, sounds easier than doing, I know.
You can also buy cool fan grilles to go on the outside to mask the hole you cut. Lots of neat designs, and standard ones, too.
